TaLK (Teach and Learn Korea) Internship Program
Without a bachelors degree you will not be able to legally travel overseas to teach English. However, if you have a completed NQF Level 6 (a 3 year National Higher Diploma) or a 2 year Associate Degree or if you have completed the 1st & 2nd year of a bachelor degree you can apply to teach English in a Korean provincial public school on the TaLK Program.
TaLK posts are a great “soft landing” into teaching ESL as they only require 15 contact teaching hours per week leaving a lot of extra time for further study by correspondence to up-grade your qualifications to a bachelors degree or to complete your bachelor degree while earning a good salary with return ticket reimbursement, medical cover, a rent free apartment & great vacation time.
TaLK recruits every 6 months in Spring (Feb) and in Fall (Aug). Candidates are encouraged to apply early (4 - 5 months beforehand) to secure a contract before the intake is closed once all the vacancies are filled.
TaLK Program

All of this while living and working in one of the safest countries in the world with excellent support from your co-teacher, school and local community!

Certificate with National Govt. Apostille
This is the most troublesome document as it typically takes a very long time to get this from your government. We urge you to apply for this as soon as you possibly can. Apply at your local Police Station or through your national government Background Check department (ie. the FBI) and monitor the progress of your application online. Once completed the certificate must be apostilled by your national government. Carefully scan & mail to applications@goldkeyeducation.com without damaging the apostille seal. Keep the original safe for submission after your interview.
9
Two Sealed Academic Records / Transcripts
Sealed in the Student Records office at your university
These must be two separate, sealed college or university envelopes each containing a complete record of your studies from first year to last year listing courses and grades. They must be sealed in the student records office with a university stamp, seal or stickers astride the envelope flap. Your full name must be written clearly on the front of each envelope as we cannot break the seal on unmarked envelopes to ascertain to whom they belong. These sealed envelopes must be sent by courier to the GoldKey office with the seals intact.
10
Certificate with National Govt. Apostille
If you have completed your studies and attended graduation then you do need to arrange to have a copy of your NatDip or Associate Degree or degree certificate apostilled by your national government. Do not apostille your original certificate. If you have only completed 2 years of a 3 year bachelors degree you can skip this document.
