You can apply for an EPIK contract through GoldKey Education from anywhere in the world. Provided you have reliable internet access and a decent webcam & microphone and you can send and receive documents via a reliable courier service. In person meetings with us are not required.
After you have read this website carefully you can contact with us by WhatsApp or email. If you are in the Western Cape you are welcome to come by and visit us if you prefer - just call ahead to make an appointment.
The EPIK Application Process through GoldKey Education requires a lot of document checks and video calls.
Please only contact us if you are determined to secure an EPIK contract and willing to devote your efforts to submit a successful application and prepare properly to pass the formal EPIK Interview. Please do not apply through multiple agencies.

Initial Application

Applicants upload data online to EPIK database & submit Full Doc. set (incl. Work Visa Documents) to GoldKey offices by email incl. for final check before online submission.

Zoom Interview
The applicant has a 30-40 minute Zoom Interview with the EPIK office in Seoul, Korea. Interview results are announced to the
applicant within
1-6 working days.

Original Documents
GoldKey checks applicants Full Document Set (documents 2 - 10) by Zoom call. Applicants then couriers documents to Seoul, Korea to secure contract & work visa.

Applicant
Signs Contract
EPIK couriers Contract to the street address provided by the applicant. Applicant signs & assembles Visa Application Documents for submission to their nearest Korean Embassy.
Work Visa
Issuance
Applicants courier their Signed Contract & Visa Application documents to their nearest Korean Embassy for the Issuance of the E2 Work Visa.

Flight to Korea
Applicants send courier to collect visa & passport from the Korean Embassy. They book their flight & fly to Korea on a set date

GoldKey & EPIK.
Important!
EPIK receives far more applications than they have open posts needing new teachers. As a result they are very quick to pass over poorly submitted applications. If they decline to interview you (step 4) then you will have to wait six months for the next intake before you can apply again.
You are therefore encouraged to coordinate your application process closely with YunOck JUNG to ensure your Application Documents set and the online Application Form are all in order before you submit your application online by pressing the SUBMIT FINAL APPLICATION button.
