English Schooling Letter Guide
This document is only required for applicants who attended school in South Africa and Quebec Province
If you attended more than one primary school, you only need to get this letter from your last primary school (where you attended Grade 7)
If you attended more than one high school then you need to get letters from each school to cover you from Grade 8 thru Grade 12.
Step 1: Phone your old school, find out who types up letters for the admin office or principal
Step 2: Try and speak with that person explaining you are a past pupil and need a letter confirming your English schooling – ask for their email address.
Step 3: Copy and paste the text in the box below into an email to that person (or click the Pre-Formatted eMail button below) and ask them to copy and paste the text onto a school letter head and to just add their standard formatting such as “Best regards, Principal James”
Step 4: Ask that they print it on a letterhead, have it hand signed by the School Principal or Deputy Principal, then scan and email it back to you.
Step 5: Forward that email on to applications@goldkeyeducation.com
There is no need to retrieve the hand signed original letter from the school. You only need to submit a scan of the hand signed letter.
Only your original hand signed Reference Letters are required to be submitted as original documents to secure your contract and visa.
This is to confirm that (First Name – Middle Name – Surname) born (Date of Birth) attended (Full Name of School) from (2000) (Grade ?) to 2007 (Grade 7).
All instruction at (Full Name of School) is presented in English.
That is all that is required in the letter. Nothing more. If your school insists on adding some flourishes that is not a problem provided these key items of information (shown in bold letters above) are in the letter.
